How to process a dropshipping order?
Notifying the Brand About Orders
When an order is placed by one of your customers on your webshop, a notification is automatically triggered through Orderchamp to the brand with the relevant details. The brand then proceeds to handle and ship the order in accordance with their specified lead time.
To secure the order, we will initially charge the total order amount, including shipping, handling and payment fees, to you. It's essential to ensure that you have well paid the pending invoice to prevent any order from being delayed or blocked.
The brand will then dispatch the package directly to your customer. We facilitate this process by sharing all relevant shipping details with the brand through the connection between your webshop and Orderchamp. Once the brand inputs the tracking information into their own system, it will be automatically forwarded to your webshop, resulting in an updated order status.
Important Note: Beforehand, it's crucial to verify the list of countries to which the brand is willing to ship. Neglecting this step could lead to unnecessary order cancellations, potentially impacting your customer's experience.
As soon as the shipment has been delivered, the status of the order will change to be marked as completed.
If any issues arise with the order, please reach out to the brand directly for assistance.
Orderchamp assumes the responsibility for facilitating a seamless transaction between you, the retailer, and the brand. We handle all necessary information migration and communication between both parties. Your responsibility entails keeping your customers informed about the status of their orders, managing their expectations, and reporting any issues directly to the brand if needed.
In the event that a brand is unresponsive or uncolaborative, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can provide assistance.
