How to ship a dropshipping order?
To ensure a smooth shipment process for an order, it is important that all steps are clear from the start, both for the retailer and the supplier involved in the transaction.
Shipments when it comes to dropshipping differ from our regular shipping process which you might already have experienced on the marketplace.
Shipping options
First and foremost, once you've received an order and confirmed it (unless automation is enabled in your integration settings), you'll notice that the order page in your back office will direct you to your own system to complete the remaining steps. Since your system is integrated, all the actions you take to fulfill the order there will be reflected directly on Orderchamp.
Package slip and shipping details
The details of the dropshipping order, including the customer's address and order specifics, will be automatically transferred to your own webshop platform.
Track and Trace
For us to transfer tracking details to the retailer, you must add the tracking information directly into your own integrated system. This information will be transferred to the retailer and available both in their system and on Orderchamp.
Order Status
The order status will change automatically as you take action in your webshop's software. It will transition from 'awaiting confirmation' to 'awaiting fulfillment,' 'awaiting delivery,' and finally 'completed,' depending on the tracking information we receive from your carriers.
Shipping costs
Shipping and handling costs are applied according to your settings for each product group. Orderchamp is not responsible for any additional compensation if the actual cost exceeds the fees paid by the customer. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure the accuracy of your shipping calculations and to make adjustments if necessary.
If you choose to use our shipping labels, the associated cost will be withheld from your payment.
