How can I set specific prices for Dropshipping?

Default Setting:

By default, the price used for dropshipping is the same as the normal price listed on the marketplace. This ensures a seamless and straightforward experience for sellers and buyers.

Lower Prices for Dropshipping:

For enhanced flexibility, brands can now set lower prices specifically for dropshipping. This feature enables you to optimize your pricing strategy for dropshipping, making your products more competitive in the market.

Limitation on DS Prices:

It's important to note that DS prices cannot be higher than the original product price. This limitation is in place considering that the shipping fee already contributes to the overall cost, preventing any unintentional pricing discrepancies.

Accessing the "Pricing" Tab:

To set DS prices, navigate to the "Pricing & Margins" section within the Dropshipping menu. 

Two Ways to Set DS Prices:

1. Manual Method (Product Edit or Imports):

   • Individual products: Adjust DS prices manually within the product edit page.
   • Bulk updates: Utilize the import feature to set DS prices for multiple products simultaneously.

2. Automatic Method:

   • Enable the automatic pricing feature to dynamically adjust DS prices based on predefined rules. This can save you time and effort, ensuring your prices stay competitive without constant manual adjustments.

Manual DS Price Setting:

1. Toggle Feature:
   • On the product page, a toggle is available that, when enabled, allows you to set a different dropshipping (DS) price.
     
   • If the product has variants, each variant can have its own DS price.
   • DS prices can also be conveniently set through imports for efficient management.

Automatic DS Price Setting:

1. Enabling Automatic Lower Pricing:

   • In the Pricing section of dropshipping settings, a brand can activate the "Automatic Lower Pricing" feature.
     
   • Here, the brand can specify a percentage by which all their products will have lower DS prices compared to the normal pricing.

2. Setting Percentage:

   • After enabling, set the desired percentage and save the page. Please note that product updates may take a short while.

3. Automatic Price Adjustment:

   • Once enabled, the DS prices get automatically adjusted based on the specified percentage.
   • The DS price field and value will still be visible on the product edit page, but it becomes a blocked field.

4. Dynamic Adjustment with Normal Price Changes:

   • When the normal price changes, the DS price automatically adjusts accordingly.
   • Any manual DS prices previously set will be overwritten by this automatic setting.

5. Disabling Automatic Pricing:

   • If the brand chooses to turn off the automatic pricing feature, all DS prices will be removed, and the normal price will be applied for dropshipping once again.
