How is the status of my Dropshipping products managed on Orderchamp ?

The integration project connects Orderchamp to external e-commerce platforms in order to automatically synchronize the data in between the two systems.

The key features of integrations are:

• Catalog import (mandatory)
• External product management for
  • Inventory levels (mandatory)
  • Other products details: title, description, price and images (configurable)
• External order handling (optional)

The exact behaviour of the data synchronization varies, depending on the external platform connected to Orderchamp.
FTP integrations in particular have their own behaviour that does not follow the key features listed above.

Integrations have to be installed (and uninstalled) from your Orderchamp backoffice, where they are known as Applications. They can be found under the sidebar item Apps & Integrations.

1. Catalog synchronization (Your system → Orderchamp)

Overall flow

• The catalog synchronization will import the products and the products' updates from your system to Orderchamp. This leads to the creation of missing products in Orderchamp and the update of the inventory and other fields for the existing products that are connected.
• It is a one-way synchronization from your system to Orderchamp. Changes made in Orderchamp are not pushed  to your system.
• The synchronization works on the variant level; the primary connection is made variant to variant for inventory and the SKU codes as the required fields. The product-level data synchronization is then made through the variants.
• The synchronization attempts to match existing variants between the two systems before it will create a new variant (and product) in Orderchamp. It uses the SKU codes for this initial match. Updates are then performed with product ids.
