Understanding and Resolving Common Import List Errors
When managing your import list, you may encounter various product statuses. These typically result from supplier-side availability changes or communication issues between Orderchamp and your webshop. Below is a glossary of common error messages, their meanings, and recommended solutions.
Unpublished / Disabled
- Meaning: The supplier has unpublished the product, making it unavailable.
- Solution: No action needed—this product is no longer available for dropshipping.
Update Failed / Failed - Product Not Found
- Meaning: The product was previously synced but our integration can no longer find it in your webshop. This often happens when a product is deleted from the webshop or duplicated outside the import list.
- Solution: We recommend deleting the product from your import list. This should also trigger its removal from your webshop. Afterwards, we recommend waiting a few hours, and re-importing it again.
Failed - Couldn’t Create Product
- Meaning: The product couldn’t be created due to permission errors in the integration.
- Solution: Check whether your webshop is giving our integration permissions to create products.
